Parking Constraints & Slot Changes at Athens (LGAV)

Athens International Airport (LGAV) is implementing new slot and Prior Permission Required (PPR) procedures starting March 29th, 2025

• Free parking period reduced from 12 hours to just 2 hours.
• Any stay beyond 2 hours now requires both PPR and slot confirmation, granted only 24 hours prior to operation.
• Last-minute requests (<24 hours before the day of flight) will be treated as ad-hoc and subject to slot availability — even for short stays

  • VIP/GAT Terminal Charge: 500 EUR Charge is applicable for both Departure and Arrival.

  • GA/BA Facility Charge:
    • Arrival: €2000

APIS Implementation for All GA Flights

• Effective March 27th, 2025, Greece now requires Advance Passenger Information System (APIS) compliance for all General Aviation flights (AOC and Non-AOC). Operators must email the Greek border authorities at TES.BORDERPROTECTION@ASTYNOMIA.GR
